Themed Parties.
My good friend, Daniel, turned twenty one this past weekend and what a party it was. His theme originally was Nintendo Characters but expanded to games from any platform. Daniel dressed as a Superhero version of Pacman, I went as Misty from Pokémon. Princess Daisy, Lara Croft, Ninja, Tetris and a few others were in attendance.
The whole to-do got me thinking about what I’d like to do for my 21st (in May). Should I have a theme or not?
Here are a few ideas:
- Twilight themed party. Bring on the Edward Cullens of the world. 😀
- Toga/Greek God theme.
- Casino theme.
- Mardi Gras Masquerade theme
I’m sure themes make parties more interesting, but I always fear that people won’t adhere to the theme, and I am an organisation freak.

Themed parties are the way to go! Check out my blog dedicated to just that: partyhuman.wordpress.com. If your friends are game, I think any age can enjoy themed parties. If some guests are party-poopers, it’s their loss. Just continue on and try to ignore their lack of party prowess.
